About Me

Las Vegas Jan 2008 ..
Reno Santa Pub Crawl 2007 ..
Granite passed away Monday night/Tuesday morning (July 9/10).
:-( :-( Granite was such a good boy. He had cancer and was taken from us too soon. We love him so much and will miss him even more. Hugs and Kisses Baby Granite.
Hmmmm....I really don't know what to tell you about myself. I love doing triathlons. I'm slow, but I get there (and that's what counts IMO) and I enjoy it and it gives me a sense of accomplishment every time I push myself further then I've gone before and every time I cross the finish line.
I love to travel.
I've been to Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria,
Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, and Bora Bora.
I went to Antarctica and Chile in Jan-Feb 2007.
I swam in the ocean in Antarctica!! woo-hoo
I hiked an active volcano in Chile - Volcan Villarica! Things I hate - mountain biking - can't stand it!! Wow--now that I think about it, I can't think of anything else I truly hate. But I know there is more, so I'll add to the list as I think of it.
And see, there I go again. I started off not knowing what to say but once you got me going you can't shut me up!!!
Here's a quote for ya,
"The loneliest words you'll ever know 'If only--if only it was so.' The emptiest words that there'll ever be 'It could have been me' 'It could have been me.' "

My Interests

I love doing Triathlons, Wakeboarding, Running, Skiing, Reading, and Traveling.

I'd like to meet:

We're all mad!!!!!!

Anyone - Everyone - I'm not picky!!

Music:

Rock 'n' Roll - all the way baby!!!
Forever and ever it was Motley Crue. Sadly, they have slipped. They still hold a dear place in my heart for all the memories, but now I'd have to go with Meatloaf as #1. Otherwise, nothing really new, I'm mostly a 80's & 90's rock person. The newest bands I can think of I like are: Buckcherry, Evanescence, Avril Lavigne, The Killers, Jet, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani

Movies:

Grease, Modern Problems, Time Bandits, The Devil's Advocate, 10 Things I Hate About You, Wild Things, Very Bad Things, The Whole Nine Yards, The Usual Suspects, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Cutting Edge, The Matrix

Television:

Reality TV - I'm Addicted!
Also -
Desperate Housewives
Weeds, Californication,
and The 4400

Books:

Science Fiction - Fantasy - Horror - Drama - Crime

Heroes:

Sad but true, I can't really say I have any. Although, I do admire the heck out of all the athletes out there who have overcome major obstacles (injury, illness, accidents, etc) to continue on in the sport they love. I read their stories all the time and it makes my problems seems so inconsequential and silly. ..
