"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." -Winston Churchill-
I realized, my page has a lot of pictures, and a lot of quizzes - but not much truly ABOUT me. Explaining me. I guess I am not very good at that... so I mostly leave my writings in my blog to handle that. I really love to write. Anyway, I thought something simple should be here though, right?
Anyway... I am 27, and a mother of 2. (My children also have a 14 year old older sister, but these days we do not get to see her very much.) I live in Port Jefferson Station, NY. (Until July of this year.) I adore my children... they are my absolute life. My daughter started kindergarten this fall, and she is Autistic. Autism is a very hard to understand developmental disorder. My baby girl is High Functioning. You would see her playing on the play ground with other children her age, and not think twice - yet if an ambulance or police car went rushing by, blaring it's siren, she most likely will panic. In the rain, she has a very hard time functioning. Yet, she is the sweetest, smartest little girl in the entire world. And she is my baby. My son - he is the classic class clown. He is 4, and doesn't let that hold him back one bit! He can be amazingly sweet, and a complete terror in the same MINUTE! And he brings joy to everyone that sets their eyes on his adorable dimples!
I am passionate about many things. Autism advocacy is a huge part of my life. I am totally anti-vaccine at this point, that is a topic many people are very passionate about - in both directions, so I only bring that up if it is pushed on me... and I will never judge anyone for their choices about it, in either direction.
I am Pagan - and I believe in God... I believe in seeing divinity in everything, because it IS in everything. I do NOT believe in "the Devil." (At all - just incase you were wondering.) I am studying Inca Shamanism, and I went to Peru in 2007. That was an AMAZING experience. (I got to spend 2 weeks, going to various temples, WITH the Shaman elders, some of the teachers of my teachers!) One day I will open my own healing practice, and eventually I will teach everything I have learned, to everyone who wants to know it. I am greatly looking forward to that day!
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

You scored as Shamanic Pagan, A shamanic pagan's roots are generally found in Native American faith. A true love and respect for the earth and all that it yields is central to their faith. Wisdom is most often found in spirit guides or totems, who can be animals, ancestors, or spirits. Pagans who follow this path tend to be far more aware of the delicate web that interweaves the lives of every person and thus move within that web accordingly. They're usually deeply insightful, friendly, loving people and excellent friends and parents. Mysterious and strong, as well, they are often the protectors of their friends and family as well as the moral compass for their friends and loved ones.
