Hey everybody, my name's David. I'm pretty easygoing, enjoy being with friends & family, having a good laugh (and a coffee!), and have great sense of humour. Keeping in touch with Family and Friends has always been important to me.
I'm a digital video & photography addict, and a bit of a tech junkie. As for movies/TV ... Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and other sci-fi. Otherwise, it's comedy, news & documentaries, animals & nature, and technology and aviation. As for music, wow, it's a wide range, but if I had to say, the favourites are mostly new age, Traditional & New Country, Soft Rock, and pop.
Since a few people have asked ... I **do not** own any horses, even though I'd love to.
I take every opportunity to visit the ranches & stables when visiting my parents in British Columbia. My cousin owns two in Ontario, whom she adores. She competes successfully in Equestrian all over the place.
I developed a passion for horses at 19, when I rode one for the first time at a ranch near San Francisco. Her name was Belle, a retired Equestrian. She had an ebony coat of pure satin and the temperament of an ocean breeze. My brief time riding her was the experience of a lifetime.
There's something very honest and intelligent about horses, and I guess that's part of the allure. They're strong, very intelligent, and graceful. Unlike other animals, looking one in the eye won't get you in trouble. :)
