I don't want to "force my religion" on you, but I won't shy away from what I believe. I know that Jesus loves me unconditionally, despite my many many MANY flaws.. and that's the beauty of God's grace.

To know me, that's the most important part-- knowing that I am a believer in Christ and that he offers us his grace and love to anyone who will accept it.
Other than that.... I'm a vocal music education major with a secondary emphasis in ethnomusicology at the University of Oklahoma (yeah. that's a mouthful). I play bass guitar, and I'm learning piano- but my primary focus is voice. I want to go to seminary after college and take a lot of language and culture courses. For sure I'll take Biblical Greek, Modern Hebrew, and Arabic, as well as courses on the cultures in the countries that speak them.
I don't really plan on living in the US my whole life..
I have a passion for other cultures. I want to live overseas so badly it hurts sometimes. I don't know where yet, or for how long. I just know that I'm ready whenever God says "Go!" I want to adopt children who are NOT American :-) I want to work everyday with children who have not been as blessed with wealth as I have.
To the ends of the earth, I will go.I love looking at stars, flowers (tulips and lilies), photography (I'm obsessed with film photography), coffee dates, sea otters, poetry, cars, a good pipe, soccer, being on stage, reading under a tree while barefoot, (well, any excuse to be barefoot), and I think laughter is the best sound in the world. Pretty much the only thing I'm allergic to (other than a few types of cat) is warm water. That's right! I said water- it's a skin allergy, and I have meds :-p. I'm addicted to cutting my hair or looking at new hairstyles-- My mom hates it. You can't pull me away from the stage, it's pretty much my second home (music, dance, theatre... woohoo fine arts nerds). I think Degas and Monet are two of the most stunning artists ever, and Seurat sure can put dots on a piece of paper :-) I really really like modern art. I think it's absolutely amazing. Walt Whitman was a beautiful writer, and Sylvia Plath gives me goosebumps.
