South Rock Road was formed in the country side of southwestern Ky. It's southern fried sound is in your face " loud n proud " rock mixed with blues.
Their orginal material are songs about their lives, families and the southern way of life. Their live shows are rowdy, loud and ass kickin to say the least. The band consists of Kenneth Kimmons and James Moore on guitars . Complimenting each others style of playing , these two are great blues/rock guitarist's . Behind the drum kit is Bobby Risner . A great drummer in his own right . Bryant Henderson is the bassist . A true god of thunder. Last but not least , Quint Spraggs is the bands lead vocalist . His raspy voice can sing with the best of them. Make no mistake these southern boy's know how to rock . Their songs such as Tennesse Sippin , In Our Souls and Nothin Remains The Same onslaught you with twin guitars and thunderous drums and bass lines. Then there's the ballad Southern Sunrise which shows the softer side of the southern bred band. In only two short years South Rock Road has become a favorite of the regional music scene.
The boys in the band give all thanks to God. They would also like to thank their families for the love , support and patience that they've shown . Without it things wouldn't have been possible. South Rock Road uses Gibson, Fender and Steinberger guitars, Peavey, Fender and Behrenger amps, Mapex drums and Shure mic's .
