Hey Myspace, this is Leia! Thanks for coming through..if you're still reading, you probably want to know more about me so, without further ado ****Drum Roll*****
I'm a born and raised Mississippian. I went to college in New Orleans, LA- DEEEE! U! D!D!D!D!D! DU! -that's Dillard University for those of you who don't know. My bachelor's is in Business Management and Music and because I owe Sallie Mae my first-born I moved to Houston to put it to work! So far so good, it's a 'get in, where I fit in' type of situation. Most of my job is Marketing and Promotions with a dabble (yes, a "dabble") of Personal Assistant-ship?. I eventually want to work my way up to Artist Management and owning my own label-so look out for me!
On the personal tip, some people say I'm quiet..my friends know otherwise. The truth is, I think about things so much on so many levels that they rarely get verbalized unless someone asks. In short,I don't talk to hear myself talk. Don't get it twisted I don't take myself too seriously...I'm a witty person and sarcasm runs deep in my fam! Some people get it..and some people don't which is why I don't unleash that side to the general public! I don't KNOW you like that! Plus, you ALL know how it feels when you have to explain a joke *sigh* it's. just. not. funny. anymore.
Music/the arts are pretty much the cornerstones of my world. Anything involving the them pretty much peaks my interest...well..that and women but I digress. I'm borderline anti-mainstream...yeah, I AM on Myspace. I like PBS, independent films, documentaries, blogs, anything involving creative thought... well, just make that thought,in general. Reality TV is Hoover-esque and I can't wait until this phase passes! MTV/BET have let me down on so many levels *tear* The world is crazy enough..mainstream media puts emphasis on the wrong things..i.e. Paris Hilton serving 45 days. It's 45 DAYS!! Not because she "supposedly" broke the law, she BROKE the law!! Are you kidding me?!? I think she should go for life just because she's whining*stepping off of soapbox*...but that's exactly why I'm not a judge!
