In June of 2008, I began a new chapter in my life! By God's grace, I am officially a Doctoral Student! I am very excited for this next level. Therefore, I continue to be grateful to God for every opportunity he has afforded me. There are so many people who have offered words of encouragement and who have stuck by me throughout my journey, and I remain grateful to them all. It is not easy being away from your family and friends but by the Grace of God I have come this far! August marks 8 years that I moved away from Detroit, my family, and closest friends. Currently, I am living in Houston, Tx. working for the Texas Department of Rehabilitation as a Rehabilitation Counselor. So thats my life!
