About Me

I am a 29 year old male, currently living in Hampton, Va. This past May, I received my Master of Arts Degree in counseling/psychology.In 2003,I received my bachelor of arts degree, and in 2001,I received my associate of applied arts degree.Currently,I am employed as a long term substitute teacher, as well as a food retail salesman with Food Lion, Inc. on the weekends. People often tell me that I know how to make others feel important and loved.I love meeting new fiends to add to the wonderful friends I already have. I am a very fun loving guy, who loves life, people, and having fun. My friends are some of the coolest friends imaginable. In my spare time, I really enjoy writing poetry and short stories.I am currently working on writing a book. I also enjoy hiking,swimming, working out, going to the movies,the beach,nightclubs,play's,musical theater, opera's and concerts... A friend is someone who loves you for who you are, accepts you for what you are not, and guides you in love to what you should have been all along.

My Interests

As already stated, I love going to the movies, nightclubs, out to eat, attending musicals, operas, concerts,the beach and sometimes staying at home and simply relaxing; I like swimming, playing volleyball,writing and sometimes doing absolutely nothing, but sitting around talking with friends and relaxing.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet some really cool and fun people who are 18-35 years old and interested in meeting new people to start friendships with, chat with, hang out with and chill with.I'd like these people to be caring, nice looking, and compassionate,(but not stuck up on themselves); confident that good character,personality and genuine love are far more important ones looks; truly loves being around people; at least fairly religious, (but not legalistic about things), believes in God; well educated,intelligent and concerned about the needs of others.

Music:

Hopefully,you've guessed the answer to this by now, but for those of you who have not figured it out yet, I am a huge lover of broadway musicals and opera. If fact, that is what I listen to the most, both in my car and at home. However, I do like some rock, Christian rock, praise and worship and some country as well. Some of the groups/artists that I like are: coldplay,The Chili peppers, Third Day, Greenday, Matchbox Twenty, Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, Nickleback, Jimmy Wayne, Dolly Pardon, Legacy Five, The Cathedrals, Bill and Gloria Gaither and others.

When it comes to movies, I like: Fiddler on the Roof, Rent, The Producers (The new musical movie version), Annie, Oklahoma,Into the Woods, Pippin, The Phantom of the Opera,Annie Get Your Gun,Dr. Jekeyll and Mr. Hyde,the Musical,Gypsy, The Grudge, The Dukes of Hazard, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Wedding Crashers,the plays/movies of Tyler Perry ("Diary of a Mad Black Woman," "Madea's Family Reunion," "Madea goes to Jail...)," "Into the Blue," "The House of Wax" "Spider Man I and II," "Superman," "Harry Potter " "The Lord of the Rings trilogies" and many others.

I like "Supernatural,"Law and Order," "CSI," "My wife and kids," "So you think you can dance" "Dancing with the stars," "The I love Lucy Show re-runs," "America's got talent" "America's Most Haunted Places,"The Janice Dickinson ing Agency" "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition" and some others shows as well .

Books:

I do read occasionally, but I am not much of a reader. I did enough of that in school.

Heroes:

My most respected heroes are: God first of all, my parents, my brother Allen and Sister in law Lori, my sister Jill and brother in law Rob, my brother Mark, my extended family and my wonderful friends.
