Since May of 2006 The HomeGrown Band has exploded on the island of Bermuda
with lead singer McCannon Cassidy, and taken the music scene by storm.
Within' the groups first three months they had become the backing band for one of Billboard's top reggae artists, Collie Buddz (Sony) and in the last two years have performed at venues such as the House of Blues in Hollywood to the hottest nightclubs in Bermuda.
They have have opened for Reggae, R&B and Pop Superstars
RIHANNA, SHAGGY, INDIA ARIE, ANTHONY HAMILTON, MORGAN HERITAGE, ANTHONY B, GENTLEMAN, BARRINGTON LEVY, BYRON LEE, CHUCK FENDER, GINUWINE, QUEEN IFRICA, AND CHARLIE WILSON OF THE GAP BAND.
The band has been featured on MTV's TEMPO channel and LookTV, as well as in Show Off and RG Magazines; the Boston Globe, the Royal Gazette, and Bermuda Sun; with two songs in heavy rotation on Bermuda’s top three radio stations.
