Already known in the UK for his hit single "Automatic Lyric" (2002) which was 2 on the charts for 2 weeks consecutive, Flookie has had burgeoning success. Flookie just finished (sept 2006) his new single that will be featured on an album with Luciano and Junior Kelley. It has rave reviews. After a successful tour (02+03) in the UK Flookie headed to Jamaica and was one of the headline acts at Sunfest Montego Bay 2002. In 2004 Flookie returned to Jamaica to record at the famous Leggo Studio, home to many renowned artists. Backed by the legendary Rockers Band with Horsemouth on drums and China Smith on guitar along with Bravo and Perry, Flookie created his first maxi single which features a song with longtime reggae superstar Dennis Brown. In late 2004 the album was released in Bermuda and quickly became a hit. In the summer of 2005 Flookie was featured at Bermuda Sunfest and opened for the Wailers. Flookie also opened for The Skatalites 2005 and was greatly received. In the fall of 2005 the infamous Yellowman and Flookie got into the studio and recorded a dubplate together and it has since been played and received tremendous positive feedback. Flookie has been approached by some of Reggae Sound Clash's biggest names to record for them, and those songs have helped to promote him and get his name out there amongst the professional DJ and promoter and concert circuit. His radio and concert appearances have gained a loyal following and his fan base steadily grows every day. Flookie has opened for many legendary artists such as Bunny Wailer (2000) and Yami Bolo (2000) and has had tremendous positive feedback from his hit song "Automatic Lyric" (2002) as well as his maxi single and song with Yellowman. Flookies talents have grown and garnered the respect of the nation of Bermuda and he has been regularly featured at the Bermuda Music Dramatic Society's New Years Eve Party... the biggest event and party of the year..... for the last 2 years! His appearances at various concerts and events have helped bolster his image and reputation and have made Flookie into the rising star he is today.
