We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools - Martin Luther King Jr.

About Me

I live in the north east of Scotland and am currently changing direction in my career having run a small fitness business for 21 years. I'm very much a people person and love a good old natter. I'm proud to say that I graduated in 2005 with an MA(Hons) in Politics & International Relations - I loved every minute of it and am not finished yet. I will NOT be "the Next Mrs Thatcher" thank you, and the next person to say so gets a slap! I firmly believe that education is the key, regardless of the medium; know what you're talking about or have the capacity to listen if you don't. So......I'm back to uni in September (Stirling this time) to do a post-grad in teaching for FE, doing my placment at the local college, feeling optimistic and apprehensive but mostly just relieved that I think I might have finally decided what I wanna be when I grow up :) I'm blessed with a very beautiful and talented grown up daughter who I am unashamedly proud of. I'll not say more, that's her prerogative.

Singer/Songwriter HORSE MCDONALD is one of my closest friends and I do what I can to spread the word. An amazing and original talent she has her own independent label - Randan - check her out at www.randan.org or click on the link below (she's the first in my list of friends - if it doesn't work its /horserandan). If you appreciate an incredible voice and amazing lyrics you won't be disappointed............
