Fetti's Album "Valley Fever" Critically Acclaimed

About Me

Fetti Profoun, born June 5th 1984 in Mesa, Arizona started his rap career as a sophomore in high school at the young age of 17. The aspiring Arizona rapper started a rap group named "Hypnosis" in which he assembled himself and produced the groups first and only, self titled, debut album. After the album had moderate success (still sold 300 albums) he joined a group with a friend from Gardena, California whose stage name was Redzone. The two rapper’s from completely different backgrounds decided to call their group "Off Balance". Once again Fetti produced the whole album, and saw the disc almost sell out @ the Release party, and on the street, leaving the people asking for more.
Determined to make his dream a reality he attended the Conservatory Of Recording Arts And Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. After graduating he was hired as an intern for the urban marketing department of "Capitol Records" in Hollywood, California. Here he learned the business side of the hip hop game. After his internship ended he headed back to Arizona and started the beginning of his, so far, successful independent rap career.
When returning home, Fetti started his independent record label "Paper Chase Records Inc". and began working on his first solo album “Valley Fever”. Mid way through the creation of his debut album he recruited talented music producers: Faze of Afektive Muzik LLC and Taymak of Taymak Productions LLC.
“Valley Fever” was released in Oct of 2006 and swarmed the streets of Phoenix Arizona. Fetti quickly sold out his first thousand copies and received rave reviews from the Phoenix New Times and other write ups through out local newspapers and internet blogs. Despite critics ridiculing his stage name it was agreed that his lyrics were creative enough to put him amongst raps elite. And Fetti was quoted as saying: “theres no such thing as bad publicity…while they’re clowning my name I’m laughing to the bank! I’m a gemini and Fetti is my hustler playa side and Profoun is my educated intellectual side…but keep hatin cuz my records keep selling.” Associated Press
Although, “Valley Fever” was quoted as “one of the most impressive hip hop debuts to come out the southwest in years” from the Phoenix New Times, Houston New Times, Palm Beach New Times, and Miami New Times, he and his partners at Paper Chase Records Inc. weren’t satisfied. Fetti, Faze, and Taymak were determined to make a hip hop classic album and refused to print anymore copies of “Valley Fever.” They began working on their masterpiece “My Conviction” one of the most highly anticipated albums to ever drop in the valley of the sun.
Fetti has shared the stage with local & national music artists including, Ying Yang Twins, Pokafase, DJ Seduce, and Marissa Renee, amongst others.
