My Interests

rockin' out, mullets, bitchin Camaros, REO Speedwagon (not!) and ice cold PBR!

I'd like to meet:

YOU, beeotch!

Music:

Slayer, Spearhead, Suffocation, Soundgarden, Sepultura, Suicidal, Miles Davis, Maiden, Mozart, QOTSA, Lamb of God, GWAR, Deftones, Alice in Chains, the Accüsed, Himsa, Hank I & III, early Crüe, Mastodon, (old) Metallica, Massive Attack, Meshuggah, Mr. Bungle, Radiohead, Rachmaninov, Rush, the Roots, Jeff Buckley, Beck, Beethoven, Bjork, Bootsy Collins, Chopin, Carcass, Cephalic Carnage, Clutch, Coltrane, Van Halen (ONLY w/ Dave, bitches), 2Pac, Primus (sucks), Praxis, Public Enemy, Pantera, Portishead, Death, Dismember, Entombed, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Muse, Mudhoney, the Melvins... oh god, I could go on... and on...

Movies:

Okay, so I STILL think that the best movie ever is The Shining (Stanley Kubrick is god). I'm partial to anything stupidly funny, like Dumb and Dumber, The Holy Grail, The Big Lebowski, Princess Bride, This is Spinal Tap, Kingpin, Office Space, 40-Year-Old Virgin, Blazing Saddles, Caddyshack... Love any movie about music, whether serious or slapstick.

Television:

Reality TV sucks. I hate it. I can't turn away! DAMN IT! I frickin LOVE Rockstar Supernova! I want to be up there. I'm so lame...

Books:

Anything by David Sedaris just kills me. Bukowski is insane and makes me double over with racking sobs of laughter and pain (I don't know if that's bad or good)! I can hardly hold my attention span these days with a book, tho. I have 5-6 on my nightstand that I'm partway through - fiction, poetry, history...

Heroes:

I admire anyone who doesn't give a shit about what anyone else thinks, who believes in his/her own principles and stands in the face of adversity and shouts "GO SUCK IT" when everything around her screams "CONFORM!" It's so difficult to maintain a solid sense of self throughout life... So, that's who I admire: The person who loves EXACTLY who he/she is, flaws and all.
