About Me

Lowenbad is a beautiful concoction of soul/rock/and hip-hop. The union of soul and rock has never been fused together in such a unique way as it is in this band. Husband and Wife founders, Bradley Swanson (bass/production) and Holly Cole (lead vocals/lyrics), expose the interplay between them through songwriting and production. Stepping on eachother's toes and crossing lines left and right, their song-writing and production talents are only further embellished with Dave Owen on drums and Ben Green on guitar (as of 1/1/09). Good music is worth fighting for. Dark and heavy elements are woven together with catchy hooks, esoteric beats, and politically edged lyrics. You've never been more glad to hear how fucked up the world really is.Amazing live and recorded, Lowenbad will succeed in entertaining and enlightening by making music as it should be: thought provoking, inspiring, different, progressive, and new. As the record industry continues to decline, grasping at and taking back the last few straws they doled out to the artists, we collectively begin to think, "what do WE need YOU for?" "Making it" is no longer the objective, because we have already arrived. We hope you enjoy our contribution to music. We hope you enjoy our contribution to music.
