At the tender age of 16, Jaylove was taken under the wings of local jazz great, Oliver Sain. Sain taught her the business of music as well as the ins and outs of the studio. Oliver used to lock me in the studio for hours while he went to play a gig; while he was gone, I had no choice, I had to make tracks because he would critique them when he got back. Jay explained. Because of those studio lock - ins, shes said to be one of the top 10 in the Midwest by many of her clients and colleagues alike. To date she has produced 20+ full length CDs and currently owns and operates, a publishing company, 5 Twenty 4 and a production company, Queen of Beats and a media company, The Jayla Network. She is also a member of one the hottest groups known to mankind, M.O.B.B. MUZIK.
