Paradise's Career Started with a demo track Producer Rob Grice had given to a DJ in a Club, and it happened that fellow songwriter and producer Stuart Connor was in the crowd and enquired about the track. Stu was pointed in Rob's direction and a partnership was born.
Utilising BT's 'Get Out There' Website, (developed to showcase new music talent ) Rob and Stu had several online No.1 tracks, which then received support from Radio, with Ian Roberts on 97.4 Rock FM supporting them on his 'Planet Dance' show every Saturday.. Rob and Stu then went on to sign their first Record Deal with "I Want Everything" which was signed to German Label; Upbeat Records and appeared on several European Dance Compilations. But it wasnt long before they were signing their second record deal to 5050 Records with another Club Hit "Rising Sun". "Rising Sun" & "I Want Everything" then went on to get nation-wide airing in the UK, courtesy of an appearance on the Daily Star's 'Magnificent 7' CD, compiled by 'Daily Star' Essential Clubbing writer Andros Gergiou (George Michael's Cousin) who also used "Rising Sun" as the key track on the TV campaign to promote the Daily Star's cover mount CD. The track's popularity grew with further use of the track in Film Four's production 'Principles Of Lust' and recieved huge support from DJ's such as Armin Van Burren, Danny Slade and Galaxy's Alex Pepper giving it the required slamming and clubber support. "Rising Sun" also charted at No.37 in the Top 40 Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play Charts in the United States, earning it a place on Dance Essentials Vol.3 mixed by legendary US DJ Dave Matthias.Rob & Stu then contacted Manchester based singer/songwriter Mandy Edge who was already making a name for herself in the dance scene, they recorded "Im Alive" which was snapped up by 5050 Records and went straight in at No.10 in the Music Week Upfront Club Chart. This secured Mandy as a permanent member of Paradise, and lead the now threesome on a tour of PA's across the country.
During this time Rob had contacted Andre Pascal, a Dutch producer who had an incredible amount of success in the Dutch dance scene. After weeks of phone calls and hours of studio time; 'See The Light' was born, which was then brought to the attention of 'Turbulence' Label Manager, Russell Biles; who then signed Paradise exclusively to Turbulence!
Now firmly rested with 'Turbulence', Paradise are enjoying success with club hits throughout local, national and international dance charts & major compilation albums, and are now more than ready for commercial chart success with their own material and remix work for other Artists...
