About Me

Every Wednesday night, join your hosts Ryan Robertson & Joel Gehringer as they spin some of the area's newest and hottest music -- as well as some classics in there to make you yearn for how the "scene" used to be.Descending from musical giants and journalism geniuses, Ryan & Joel offer Lincoln Radio the best possible duo to confront the staleness of pop music. With Ryan and Joel at the helm of the region's most explosive and fantastic local music show, anything is possible. Keep listening to see what new obstacles the duo will overcome and how many countless lives will be saved by their heroics and selflessness. They are truly American heroes.

Music:

Band Website: krnu.unl.edu
Band Members: Ryan Robertson, Joel Gehringer and a revolving and motley cast of local musicians, rastabouts, rogues, heroes and villians. Droopy Dog has been known to make special guest appearences. However, due to scheduling conflicts and issues steeped in legality, Droopy may not be able to frequent the show as often as shows past. For shame....Spotlight on "Astro Pictures": Although Astro Pictures (youtubed above) is not a band, they are doing local music a great service as well as contributing to the local arts and entertainment scene in Lincoln. Astro Pictures/The Hour of Power, a cable access show here in Lincoln, is scheduled to air Late April/May 2007. The Hour of Power although not specifically a music showcase will feature local bands playing original songs to Astro Pictures produced rock videos! Finally! "BRIMSTONE HOWL", "THE BAD SECTS" and "THE DEFORMITIES" are among the first bands that will grace the program. Keep an eye out for these guys on public access and youtube. They have a myspace as well! SUPPORT AND BECOME LOCAL ARTISTS!
Influences: Typing in simple word form may not suffice for describing all of the influences of Lost & Found. Historical figures ranging from Abraham Lincoln all the way to the guy who invented that kind of beef jerky that comes in nugget form...those tender, juicy morsels of excellence. Needless to say, they're good! Oh, and the L & F dudes also like loud noises...and mountain dew...and spider monkeys
