Amelia's Dad

I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm from Boaz, WV (near Parkersburg). I have four siblings (Kim, Katy, Kenny, Kyler) and two parentals. I moved to NJ when I was 17 to study dance, and shortly after I got a job with American Repertory Ballet, where I worked for 8 years. I am now a corps dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. I moved to Pittsburgh three years ago to be with the woman who is now my wife, Mollie. We bought our first home on May 5, 2006, and she had our first child, Amelia Cate Bandy, on October 28, 2006. Mollie is awesome. She is the best mom in the whole wide world as well as a craigslist master. Amelia is awesome too. She's 7 1/2 months old! She crawls, has five big teeth, and said dadadadadadada on Wednesday morning before I left for Inwood, WV to do a guesting. I am still not awesome. I am a tool ;) .. What I'm doing now:I'm in Inwood missing my little sweet baby Amelia. I'm dancing Franz in a seriously edited version of Coppelia and kickin' it in my leopard print suite in the basement of a huge ass house. Pay day is Sunday! Then it's back home to renovate the kitchen. I would like to do a shout out to all my kitchen crew--AJ, Dad, Yoland, Nick, Aaron?, Kim, Sandy, and of course Mollie and Amelia for putting up with the mess.

My Interests

Amelia, gardening, woodworking, cooking, parenting, everything to do with the environment, sustainable agriculture, hot chicks, the arts!

I'd like to meet:

The President George Bush so I can kick him in the nuts.

Music:

The only thing I'm still not into is country music with its "Yay America" and "life is so crappy" undertones. I think it reminds me too much of yahoo Republicans, and people who think that everything bad that happens to them is someone else's fault.

Movies:

I love movies and mostly try to ignore cable TV. The only bad movies I've seen are all the latest National Lampoon films and "Cheerleader Camp"(don't look it up); all other movies are good :)

Television:

I don't understand the whole concept of commercial TV. Okay, okay, 24 is pretty good. But I'd rather just relax on myspace, wouldn't you?

Books:

The Eye of the World series by Robert Jordan is my favorite fiction; I've heard rumors from the staff at Borders that the last book is over 1500 pages, yet he plans to release it in one book. Who knows when. But just so you know, there is no such thing as reading when you have a two month old.

Heroes:

Celine Dion.
