I am here for Friends

About Me

"He was one of those countless and multifarious legion of vulgar persons, sickly abortions and half-educated petty tyrants who like a flash attach themselves to those current ideas that are most fashionable in order to vulgarise them, caricaturing the very cause they seek to serve, sometimes with great genuineness."

My Interests

conflict, attention seeking, urban exploration, riding my bike, movies/film, history, philosophy, religions of the world, yoga, watching my big fuckin' TV, writing ego-centric blogs, photography, collecting hordes of DVDs that I have no time to actually watch, chasing after women, showing off, whinging, trying to think of a longer list of stuff I'm interested in ...and wasting a shitload of time (yours and mine) on the net.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting women who find me interesting... there, I said it.Yeah but seriously: intelligent people who can hold a good conversation.Artists, musicians (individual people- not bloody bands already), writers and filmakers, creative types whose ideas I can steal.People who have something (good) listed under 'books'.People who took the red pill, not the blue pill.People who get that reference (without cringing).People that can make me laugh (with you and at you).People whose profiles aren't so loud and zany that you can actually read them (for chrissake).

Music:

When I was teenager I pretty much listened to nothing except hip hop, but like many people I'm pretty disillusioned with that whole genre now -minus a few exceptions that are still out there carrying those torches, and some classics that refuse to die. These days any single type of music gets boring quickly, so I try and mix it up as much as I can (so don't look for a pattern here ~ there isn't one.) Pink Floyd, Dj SHadow, Buck 65, Sole, Bodyjar, Camille, Johnny Cash, Faith No More, Marvin Gaye, Gill Scott Heron, James Brown, P.O.D, Neil Young, Atmosphere, Ani Difranco, Sage Francis, Ennio Morricone (obviously), Metallica, Fleetwood Mac, De La Soul, Hilltop Hoods, Curtis Mayfield, MOP, Black Sabbath, Guru/Gangstarr, Rolling Stones, (Hed)Pe, Incubus (before "morning view", that is -yikes!), Frank Sinatra, Black Flag, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Commodores, Screwball, Rakim, The Animals, Janis Joplin, Black Sheep, EPMD, Sam Cooke, KRS1/BDP, Freddy Foxx, Public Enemy, Ice T, Run DMC, Nina Simone, Elvis Presley, Ice Cube, RZA, Grandmaster Flash, System of a Down, + film composers like: Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Michael Nyman, James Horner, Bill Conti, Phillip Glass (right into the 'qatsi' trilogy at the moment) ... Ah you get the idea, etc etc
