i believe music to be or can be a very powerful tool. now, although i lean towards hip-hop(all forms) and same for rnb ,i do appreciate a little bit of everything. some of it moves me and some of it teaches me, but all meaningless @ the end of the day. i first realized the true power of music when i became christian some 12 years ago. i was introduced to praise and worship music in church and have grown to love both listening and playing it. my style and influence would be similar to Darlene Zcech w/the Hillsong Church. in the old testament GOD sent the singers and musicians to the frontline of battle. i also listen to other types of christian music which pretty much covers all the same genres as secular music, but mostly pop/rock such as david crowder band, chris tomlin, casting crowns and so on...there are so many good bands out there now which i am so happy about, because for a while i have to admit, that it was also getting kind of redundant, but now there is so much creativity out there that it is making it hard to keep up!(kinda picky on the hip-hop and it's also hard to find, maybe someone can help me out) Godly music is truly the only kind of music that can fill and satisfy my soul. it also keeps me encouraged throughout the week until sunday. this music w/a message is truly where my heart and ears lie.
