Louis "Big Lou" Speaight was birthed by Colleen Speaight on June 7th, 1985 in Norfolk, Va. Big Lou now 22 years of age is focused on his lifetime goal of making it into the highly demanding recording industry. He drives his inspirations from his mother, father, and Son. As he was growing up Louis watched his mother work two jobs to feed his two brothers, sister and him everynight. Watching this made him want to help his mother and make sure that one day his family would have everything they want. The lack of presence of his father, who left him at 8 months of age, caused louis to look at life closer. In the end the absence of his father lead to Louis becoming mature at a faster rate and making him a stronger individual. Big Lou first remembers singing at age 6 when he used to repeat his favorite lyrics from Boyz II Men and Soul 4 Real around the house. When Louis was ten he joined the church choir but was only able to stay in it for a year. After his son Louis Speaight Jr was born did he started to make music. Louis has said that his "Son inspired [him] to make music" again. He gains inspiration from such artists as Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, John Lengend, Earth Wind and Fire, even his mother who used to sing Anita Baker around Lou. Louis Started to record his music at 19 and has been pursuing it ever since. He writes all of his own material and has wrote for others. Through his music Louis hopes to educate people of his life and inspire them to furfill there dreams. He wishes to have a successful music career and hopes to give back to his community in serveral different ways. Louis has worked with Local artists Page , Ice Dollars , Fly Boyz , Twan (Fly Boy memeber) , Foe Lurkin (Thero Street) , A-Driver , DJ Danny Flames , Chris Money, Bless Jones , and Vicious .
