I'm Stephanie, and I work as a freelance/independent contracter in fashion design and production. I currenty work on samples for a hat designer in NYC. Heres a new hat sample. This not my pattern, only my contruction. I'm also a Barista!I'm a talkative, blunt, honest virgo. I'm super Italian... meaning i cook like nobodies business. I love Scfi and hate horror. I love fashion and hate wearing uncomfortable clothes. Fashion is a strange thing. I realize its like anything else marketed and mass produced. But i love the creativity that i see go into something as simple as a hat. I often see the puzzles behind a project. I love Math. i am a competitive, slightly aggressive person. And yes, I think im funny. I love to laugh and i love conversation. I can be very implusive and kinda indecisive at times. but i am responsible. And I like Red wine, that thought popped into my head right after i thought about being responsible. haha.
I'm currently living in Philadelphia, for how much longer, i'm not sure. I just Graduated College!!!! With my Bachelors in Fashion Design. I'm from North Jersey, it seems like i will end up going towards NYC or back home at some point to make living easier. I love making accessories and Jewelry and almost all womens clothing. I realized that i must love it since im out of school and still feel like sewing. haha. I have been spending alot of time in nyc interning and networking. Not going to lie, having a break feels good after so much intense work. I have alot of small projects im taking on and goals to meet. But thank god theres time for some hockey, wine, and good company again.
Current motto: If you always look at the end result before giving something a chance, you'll miss the steps along the way and end up unsatisfied.." taking this approach with my work, as well as with everything else.
Current Goal: Find the middle ground and balance in life, however seems best for me... Starting by reminding myself that its ok to fuck up and its ok to be great sometimes.. you just need to find the middle and not let either go to your head. not everything is defined in Black and White.
Current Purchase.. A sexy land yatch.. aka a smooth low riding longboard. with big ole wheels (over the flex deck for sure)
