In 1994 a group of young men attending Bertha C. Boshulte Junior High School came together and formed a band called Positive Image Band. The band started practicing in which the school gave them their first performance at a school party. Lots of people showed their support towards the band being they was doing something positive and could be future roll models for other young people. In 1995 the band recorded its first album with the help of their parents. That same year the Carnival Committee gave them their first debut to the public at a Brass O Rama competition. They played at the intermission part of the show in which the audience loved them and complemented them on how good they sound. As time progressed the band played for many functions such as parties, food sales, and night outs for the public provided by the government. In 1996 the band made its presents by competing in Band O Rama and the Brass O Rama in which they placed second that year and the year after. Positive Image Band produced more albums as the years went by. They became popular in which they played for many carnivals and events. They traveled to many islands such as St. John, St. Croix, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Culebra, Fahaldo, Vieques, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande, and Anguilla. Positive Image Band is a group of talented musicians on a musical journey to make music for everyone to love and pursue their musical careers in the music business.
