I’m an upcoming East London rapper, known as BiBz. I schooled at Cumberland school, located in Newham borough of London, and this was where I found a new hobby, which was gathering up with my friends during break time, and we see who knows more lyrics of heart. Then I started making up my own lyrics, while most of the people around me were into garage music, I was into rap because that was what inspired me then as a kid. Then as time went on I teamed up with a friend of mine and formed a group called SHADOW KLIQUE. We both performed locally at different talent shows in London borough of Newham, which then lead us to perform at the Jack Petchy Awards in Stratford town hall. Unfortunately we had to put an end to the group because I had to concentrate on my GCSE and at that time we weren’t really dedicated as a group. Towards the end of 2005, I met the CEO of Awake Records, which is a UK gospel label; he became my mentor and advised me to do something positive with my marvellous talent, I took his good advice, which then leads me to perform live on Sky TV (R-music TV). Ever since then I have been performing at different talent shows, and winning other competitions. My main aim in this music business is to penetrate into the streets where I come from and try changing their mind into a positive one, so you should be expecting something positive and different in your ear drums, plus my music will be suitable for everyone, both young and old, because it won’t contain any swearing or cursing, it will be fun. My favourite quote is, “if you can’t stand the heat, leave the kitchenâ€. As the saying goes, “Knowledge is powerâ€, so at the moment I am studying the music business book.
