Young Flames King of the MidwestWhy the King of the Midwest he says “He’s Going to bring a whole coast that ain’t never been on to the forefront of the music industry and to do that he got to be the king “From the mean Westside of Akron, Ohio also home of NBA Superstar Lebron James. Young Flames started his career at the early age of 5 following the footsteps of his father local rapper “MC Brue” who taught Flames the game. Young Flames mother was a known drug dealer around the city but became addicted to crack cocaine and ended up in prison for robbery. Flames took his life to the streets became homeless at the young age of 16 selling drugs, stealing and even joined a gang. Still in the streets Flames was known for his ability to freestyle and his friend hooked him up with a upcoming producer from Cleveland, Ohio by the name of DJ Hott Scott .Flames & Scott instantly connected and made hits one of the song “2-Step” got the attention of Mark Limicka (manger of rapper Petey Pablo of Jive Records & also the manger of R&B singer Ciara also of Jive Records) he loved the song and promised Young Flames & DJ Hott Scott a record deal with a 250,000 signing bonus but was decline after creative differences . Young Flames & DJ Hott Scott went to on and start recording flames debut album “Straight Outta Da Crackhouse” it hit the streets summer 2006 with a hit song “Move Like Me” that hit college radio stations and became the biggest selling CD in Akron, OH, Newspapers and television jumped on the Young Flames story from being homeless to being 1 in the city. The success of the album would allow Young Flames to opening up for major artist such as “Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Ray Cash, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and many more and Young Flames was getting offers from many major labels the album also caused problems with Young Flames and DJ Hott Scott so they decided to go there separated ways during this time DJ Unk from Big Oomp Records/Koch Records made a song “2-Step” which was a duplicate of Young Flames & DJ Hott Scott’s song. Young Flames went his own way and joined a group of super producers “Joe Millionaire” who did work for( Ampichino of Double F/Koch Record, Al Fatz of Dreamlife/Atlantic Records, Freeze of LT/Universal Records and many more). “J.I.” Who did work for (Lil Wayne of Cash Money/Universal Records, Freeway of Roc-A-Fella /Def Jam Records, Chubbie Baby of Headbangers/Diplomat Record & Many More). “ Rip Ruga who did work for Da Kennel and Many others..Young Flames & Joe Millionaire made a song “Money, Money, Money,” that got attention of movie producers working “Player School Movie” which is a spinoff of the VH1 show “The Flavor of love” the movie will feature the girls from the show and there putting the song on the soundtrack.
