oh goodness. I like it all. I currently listen to a lot of Good Morning Baltimore, Nicest Kids in Town, You Can't Stop the Beat, etc. But, I like stuff I can sing along to which means I need to be able to understand the lyrics and not feel like a jackass belting them out. No cheesy lyrics! Unless intentional, cheesy lyrics are a waste of perfectly good melodies.
There are so many quality films to love! Overboard and Heathers are up there among many favorites.
I don't get to watch that much TV on tour :( So I buy DVDs of my favorite shows so I can watch them on the Bus. I'm currently watching Robot Chicken but I also love Family Guy, Simpsons, My Super Sweet 16, Laguna Beach, South Park, Reno 911, The Cosby Show, Dave Chappelle, stuff on A&E like Intervention. That show is sooo serious, but usually I like light-hearted and/or educational television. I can't watch prime-time drama like CSI or shows where the premise is that women hate each other like The Bachelor or Wife Swap. They make me sad...for different reasons.
I'm reading "Jubilee." It's a book about a slave woman and it is heart wrenching. My mom says that every black person should read it and now I agree.
