I enjoy a large majority of music out there today. I'm big on rock, but I enjoy folk, symphony, trance, techno, house, rap, instrumental, and a bit of country. Coheed and Cambria, dispatch, Circa Survive, dredge, william fitzsimmons, emery, the classic crime, billy talent, the proclaimers, Ludacris, Eminem, anything the london symphony touches are but a few of the groups or musicians I enjoy.
I can't really say that I have ONE favorite movie. Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind is definately up there on my list though. Michel Gondry is my favorite director that is for sure. His other films The Science of Sleep and Be Kind Rewind are amazing. As well as a lot of his music videos. Braveheart, The Matrix trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Rounders, I Heart Huckabees *changed my life*, Equilibrium, Suspect Zero, The Nines *amazing movie!*, No Country for Old Men, The Big Lebowski, Superbad, Juno, The Boondock Saints, Blacksnake moan, are just a few of the movies I enjoy.
I really only watch the history channel - The Universe and on comedy central - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report. And when it's actually on Heroes on NBC.
I enjoy the Harry Potter Series, Oh the Places You Will Go by Dr. Suess, The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, The Dragonlance series, quite a few OSHO books, the Dhammapada, The Golden Compass
First off my Mom, its cliche.. but raising four kids on your own isn't that easy. So much love to her! Acting wise I enjoy the colors Johnny Depp uses in each of his characters. He adds a different variety to each once and in an instant it makes that character unique. Jim Carrey and Robin Williams for their comedic timing and physicality, John Goodman, James Earl Jones, Patrick Stuart for fulling immersing themselves in each part to the max feeling the emotions and doing it so dangwell. My other heroes are the Buddha and The Dali Lama. Both inspire peace and I can only hope to do the same one day.
