You know, what you'd expect... ironic pop-culture references, kitschy household items, occasional nostalgia, and other various art-student-like shit. Oh, and razor blades.

My stradivarius trumpet makes me happy, as does attempting to master my grandma's piano teachings. All of my CD's are stored in a single brown paper liquor bag. I don't follow any specific genre of music so I tend to detest, even lash out on, individuals that criticize my fondness to a particular song. You see, I don't acknowlege the politics of music artists or what they stand for, what a silly thing to be adamant about. After all it is only soundwaves. I like many songs that I know nothing about what is behind the sound. Also, I like to make believe I am proficient in ballet and salsa with Sessy Lessy, so music condusive to such behavior is fantastic.
I have Netflix now, and damn it if I don't love it. Surprising since one of my strongest emotions is my hatred of DVD's. Those fucking things are so fragile. Fuck it. Give me a sturdy VHS that plays right where you left it. But these are some of my favorites: Queens of Comedy, All Margaret Cho, Anything stand-up comedy, Dirty Love, On Golden Pond, Edward Scissorhands, Flashdance, the Godfather, Casino, Goodfellas, Blow, Requiem for a Dream, Glitter, View from the Top, Death Becomes Her, She Devil, Marvin's Room, House of Spirits, Out of Africa, Deer Hunter, Postcards from the Edge (anything Meryl Streep), Terms of Endearment, Serial Mom, the Other Sister, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Desparate Living, Nell, Riding in Cars with Boys, and Little Miss Sunshine, that movie was so refreshing. Nowadays it has become trendy and artistic to be purposefully negligent to story-telling, or just creatively mellow. That is my problem with Sophia Coppola and Marie Antoinette, because god damnit I wanted that movie to be entertaining. However, I just saw Pan's Labyrinth, and wow, it was amazing.
I wish I had cable, even though conservative adults were right; TV does rot your brain. Just in a philosophical sense. They flash pretty pictures into your living space at a shameful rate every second, then it makes you think you need shit, and forget that you're just a living being and not some exaggerated, self-righteous, participant in this bureaucratic social system that has evolved. Which is why I am starting to think about getting into advertising. Ooo, maybe for VH1 too.
I don't read enough, and it irritates me sometimes, but I still don't do anything about it. At least I'm honest I guess. But I have liked these: Catcher, Less than Zero, 1984, the Awakening, Alec Baldwin Doesn't Love Me, Happiness is a Serious Problem, Dry
Um... honestly I don't think I have one at this point. I kinda don't like people that much. I do only on a personal level, but you know when the student is ready the teacher appears
