Javaski "Jasic" McDonald, was born in Compton, California, shortly relocated to Texas where he grew up in Nacogdoches and Austin where he sang in his church choir and has performed in many talent shows, concerts, and local events.
At the tender age of 5, he took an interest in singing and began writing songs at the age of 11 and has been ever since. In his late teens he began composing music. With his biggest fan and strongest support system by his side his mother Vanicia M. Simon (McDonald) God rest her soul---he was able to express his life passion for music. All the while he has obtained a certificate of Bachelors in Business from Huston-Tilloston University, while incorporating his daily activities of song writing and staying passionate about singing.
Jasic has worked for radio stations such as a local station KAZI88.7. He has also found himself holding a position with Carnival Beats Entertainment as a Management/Marketing correspondence assistant. Back in 2002, he was in a group with his brother called Page One---were they opened for many different shows, comedians and any other event they could put on their roster. But more recently he is one of the founders for Liquid Tracks Music Productions, he has written music and sang background vocals for local artists in Austin by the names of Lakrea, Mic' Rich, Teresa Cole and many others.
He is a multi-talented artist, singer, songwriter, vocal arranger, director as well as producing music which is much to his advantage where he can show off his skills of playing the drums and piano. When asked what genre of music would we relate his music too he said "Soul, Hip-hop and Rhythm and Blues." We also asked him who he is influenced by he states; Miles Davis, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, Otis Redding, Isley Brothers, Babyface, Dave Hollister, Carl Thomas , R. Kelly and many others.
