The Fracture

The Fracture has broken up (get it?)

About Me

It's difficult to sum up what I'm feeling right now. I write this a couple of hours after we played our last show ever (and it was a blast, thanks to everyone who came). A lot of different feelings are flowing through my head right now, pride, sadness, content, and maybe most of all awe. I am proud of all that we have been able to accomplish, a full length CD, 3 for 3 in battle of the band's, and shows all over the state of Connecticut, and more importantly all of the hard work that it took to accomplish the previously mentioned achievements. The sadness stems from the fact that the best part of my life over the last 2 years has come to an end, and along with that a certain relationship with 3 of the best guys I know that people who aren't in a band may have a tough time understanding. I am content with how we are leaving The Fracture, we still have our fans, we are still best friends (probably even better friends than when we started) which few bands can say, and we went out with a great show. Finally, more than anything I am in awe. I do not mean this to sound pompous or cocky in any way, in fact, quite to the contrary. 4 average guys were able to work together to do something really special, to be able to open for some of OUR heroes, and to play in venues that just years earlier we dreamed of being able to play. From the time I first attended a show, I always wanted to be the one on the stage, the one conveying the message to a crowd, with all eyes on me, and through The Fracture I was able to accomplish this. For this privilege, I want to extend a sincere thank you to our families, friends, and most importantly, our fans for being so loyal and amazing. I know that I speak for the band when I say that we appreciate it more than you can imagine. This entire experience has been one of the best of my life, and through the good times and the bad, we loved it all. Thank you.
