I'm Mark Earl, a session drummer and tutor from the Brighton UK area. Please feel free to contact me for lessons and any type of session work. I Play all styles and specialise in Funk, Jazz and Fusion. I also Teach all styles and specialise in Technique.

Well im a drummer in Burgess Hill in West Sussex and I play drums all the time basically!
Im a student at 'The Brighton Institute of Modern Music', aka BIMM. I've completed the 1st year(Diploma)with a Distinction and have recently completed my Higher National Diploma with a Distinction . I am currently studying the BA Hons Degree course.
My aim is to be a full time session musician and stick to a career of drumming professionally. You can see me at 'Drummerworld' if you like so here is the link!

I am currently in a band called Benjamin with Ben Lucas (www.myspace.com/benjaminmusicuk) which is sounding so great! I have also worked with many bands and musicians in the past, playing live and recording.
I really like spending my time with my girlfriend Claire as we have such a laugh as we are both flipin crazy people! I love her and she is beautiful! :)

My Interests

Ummm... I think you may have guessed! I also like playing piano, guitar and bass, music is a big part of my life!I really enjoy working with other musicians and recording and playing live with them. /font

I'd like to meet:

Well... God(i wanna know wat he looks like), I'm desparate to meet Dennis Chambers, who is just an amazingly, stupidly awesome drummer and I would do anything to jam with him. Also Rodney holmes(of course another drummer) and various other top musicians.

Music:

I love funk coz it just grooves and its the music i like to learn from when i wanna learn a new groove or somethin. But I appriciate every genre of music.

I love the band 'Dream Theater' coz they are just the most technical band ever and Mike Portnoy(drummer)is just incredible!

I like so many other bands in different genres but i cant be bothered to write them all in!

Movies:

Ummm... Pee Wees BIG Adventure, Edward Scissorhands, Return to Oz!!!??? All the crap movies which actually have something good about them! U know wat i mean! I hate scary movies! Dunno why coz they are only movies!

Television:

60 seconds news(you know, it comes on during movies!) It should actually be banned coz its crap!!!Police programmes, Dog the Bounty Hunter is funny! Oh yeh,Judge Judy "The Cases are real, the people are real, the rulings are final, this is HER court room, THIS IS JUDGE JUDY" !!! lol

Books:

Reading sucks!Never read a whole book, Sooooo boring!!! I just dont wana waste time with my head in a book, i wanna get out and enjoy life! amen !
