Influenced by artists such as Lauren Hill, Mary J Blige and the more contemporary Alicia Keys, Tian Arojogun decided to pursue her singing career, embarking on a Musical Theatre BTEC Course.Collaborating with artists such as Ironik (Twice As Nice), Rude-Kid, Scarz & many more, Tian began to gain recognition within the UK music industry.Starting out at the tender age of 7, Tian sang at family gatherings, performed in school plays and after encouragement from family and friends, joined her church choir.In June 2002 , Arojogun joined I Can Inspirational Choir, singing both solo and as the choirs alto, permitting her to showcase her vocal ability.The following year, Tian performed at Fairfield Halls, singing to Nelson Mandela at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre.Tians confidence grew as she performed The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust Fundraiser in October 2003.March 2004 saw Tian singing for The Archbishop Desmond Tutu, as well performing with the I Can Choir at the Royal Festival Hall showcase: In Celebration of My Sisters, where Iylana Vazant world famous author headlined.Leaving secondary school, Tian joined Greenwich Musical Theatre Academy, where she studied all aspects of performing arts, including drama, dance, and singing.Whilst studying she continued singing in her extra curricular activities, performing for inspirational and positive causes.At 16, she was asked to perform at The Hope Against Violence seminar in Westminster Abbey.Although Tian realised the pressures of the industry, she continued to strive for success, living by the Latin saying “faber est quisque fortunae suae†- every man is architect of his own fortune, so with that in mind, Tian continues on her quest to build an empire of success.
