I have returned to this vast expanse called Myspace after a long battle with panic, anxiety and writer's block. It has been close to a year since I've written, recorded or even picked up my guitar. Before my setback, I was busy with my band The English Translation (who are on a break) recording a single for a compilation record called Ripples Of Sound. I'm presently writing material for a new album tentatively called "Scrapbook" and have actually taken a break to write this brief update. The new material is really simple, and unassuming. I went back to the basics, and started asking myself why I started writing music in the first place. It wasn't to impress anyone, or to challenge myself. It was intended to simply put a smile on my face, and keep me company. Thats what these songs are doing so far. None have over-stayed their welcome yet. I have posted some new demos, and will continue to update the music as soon as I feel comfortable with the songs I'm posting. These songs are in their infancy, and are pretty rough around the edges, but that happens during this stage. I just wanted to share these with everyone regardless of the stage. So enjoy.
