I'm a jewellery designer. You can see my work at http://www.taketothesky.ca I'm a huge silent film fan and co-chair of the International Buster Keaton Society's Annual Convention. I'm a pretty simply person- give me my family, my friends, a good movie, a good meal and i'm set. Pretty shy and pretty weird (in a good way) with a low bullshit tolerance. I believe that NATHAN FILLION is the most underrated, under-appreciated and underutilized actor around and i am doing what i can to let people know about this amazing talent.

I'd like to meet:

Nathan Fillion, Ewan MacGregor, Tori Amos and have the ability to time travel to meet a bunch of people who are no longer with us, like John Lennon and Buster Keaton

Music:

Huge Tori Amos fan. Second only to The Beatles. Otherwise kind of all over the place. If it makes me smile, dance, reflect or cry- i like it.

Movies:

I love the comedy/horror genre of which SLiTHER is king. If Nathan Fillion is in it, you know it's going to be good!
I love zombie movies- except at three in the morning when i don't love them that much. My friends make fun of me for having a 'zombie plan' but i consider it essential.

Television:

Huge fan of Drive. I am unbelievably pissed it's been cancelled. Because of course, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? is a much better show./sarcasm Asshole Fox!!Addicted to The Simpsons. Love Heroes and Jericho. Huge Buffy fan, Firefly, of course. Why oh why do all the best shows get cancelled!?!?

Books:

Stephen King is a genius. All people must read The Dark Tower Series. John Hodgman's The Areas of My Expertise is stellar.Otherwise i read mostly non-fiction and biography. My husband jokes that all i read about are dead people and WWII and he worries about my morbidity level. I countered by showing him The Zombie Survival Guide i was reading at the time. It didn't really help my argument. lol BTW, according to the guide, we're all screwed.

Heroes:

My parents and step-parents, My husband. That Nathan guy everyone is talking about. John Lennon, Buster Keaton, Mary Pickford, Eileen Whitfield. People who have the courage to ask for help when they need it- something i'm still working on.
