First of all, Stigma Diaboli is a heavy metal project lead by two old friends. As a band from the metal scene, we use and abuse distorsion, mix fast and slow riffs that are melodic nonetheless. Stigma Diaboli's influences are a wide range of heavy metal bands whether they be progressive, hardcore or black metal. That's why we simply define Stigma Diaboli as a heavy metal band. But, there is a message behind the music! As citizens of the Quebec nation, we are proud of our ancestral history. We reject the British and the Canadian occupation of our land! Up to now, the Quebec people have always fought to live free and independant, Quebec as a country. We think that as sons of our nation and we should defend its honour. We don't want to keep people of Quebec's light alive like some loser and politically correct activists/artists of the modern Quebec. We don't want war except if Quebecer's territory and integrity might be abuse. But, we must specify that we don't hate any nation. Our hate is against the Canadian and American governments (to us, they are both the fucking same!) that don't respect our culture, our history and most of all, our French roots! For the people of Quebec, we are ready to fight until the shadows of Death come to take our last breath! However, we want to promote our band as much as we can and we will. Don't get us wrong, we are proud to share our music with metalheads all over the world. (Even United Kingdom metalheads! You heard us!)
