Life may not always be the party we hoped for but while we're here, we might as well dance.

About Me

"EYE" don't like to talk about myself. However... I will for the sake of this being "my space" to do that... Okay, what to say? Well, I'm honest, probably more honest than people care to swallow. I'd say my best quality (my honesty) is also my worst quality. I don't always think before I speak and I tend to ramble on when I write because my fingers move about as fast as my thoughts flow so out it comes quicker than I can stop it and here it is. I have kick butt friends, an awesome family. I've learned to apprecieate my life, let go of my regrets and move on from those who have hurt me. I'm pretty much a Spitfire Midwestern Hillbilly Small Town Country Girl from Northern Illinois. I grew up being the daughter of the Chief of Police so everyone knew everyone (and their business). I tended to be someone who gave the town something to talk about. If someone said don't do it, I probably would, just to hear the town talk the next day. Small town life was/is great, the people are wonderful and I loved nearly everything about my hometown. You know, moving from a small town when you are 30 is not the easiest adustment to make. But, it feels good to know I can be on my own without all the securities I had back in the Midwest. Moving away really taught me a lot, like who my friends really are and how to make things happen for me all by myself without needing someone to hold my hand. I learned how NOT to be the 'one who knows everyone' and I became the 'one who knows no one' and I learned to be fine with that. I learned to stand on my own and to stop leaning on comfort. I learned to welcome change (it's the one thing you can count on). I embrace new-ness, new people, new places, different faces. So, yah... I love it here. This place called Tucson is one of nicest, neatest and prettiest places a person could ever live and I'm glad I'm here. So in a nutshell, life is good, I'm happy with where my feet have taken me in my lifetime so far. And, when it's time to do so, I'll be ready to walk down the next path in my life... head held high, jumpin' the bumps... smilin' if I trip, pickin' me up and movin' on...

Music:

The music I listen to depends on my mood. I can go rock-n-roll, new artists and the old country crankers too. Some of the bands I like are: Disturbed, Buck Cherry, Cheryl Crow, Nickelback, Indigo Girls, Hank Williams III, Bucket, Matchbox 20, Godsmack, Hootie and The Blowfish, Counting Crows, Days of the New, Rhinobuckett, Tesla, Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Joan Jett, Jimmy Buffett... and lots, lots more.

Movies:

I like anything from Old Westerns to Scary, Romatic to Funny, True Stories to the Jackass type Movies. I enjoy watching Johnny Depp, Jack Nickelson and Morgan Freedman, I think they're great actors.

Television:

I love pretty much anything on the discovery channel. I hate to say this but I like reality TV too. I know, pathetic drama... but I think it's hilarious! The unscripted comments crack me up. Also, I like American Chopper (wish I had one), Mithbusters, SNL and anything Bam! He's so naughty...

I also like GHOST STORY stuff. I'd love to go into a REAL haunted house and be like a ghost detective person! But for sure I'd want someone, anyone... with me when I went.

Books:

I like true story books or books that are based on like real stuff (k-duh). Crime Drama's are interesting. The last book I read was "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. It wasn't 100% true, however, it was a good read... hard to put down.

Heroes:

My Hero's are all the Men and Women whom still are, or have been in the Military. This f**k*ng war... Let's do what we need to do and get you guy's and gal's back home safe! I want to say....
to all of you out there that are fighting for MY freedom!
