..About Us!!! “Fright Night Haunted House” was started in 1984 by my parents Fred & Martha Gonzalez. They used the haunted house as an instrument; to not only keep us off the streets but the neighborhood children as well. The entire month of October my parents gave of there time, money and all the energy they had to muster to entertain people of all ages. It was a wonderful experience for all those who were involved in its development and success. My parents recruited cousin, aunts, uncles and family friends to participate in changing a humble garage into a fabulously, scary Haunted House!In 1990, my parents were offered the opportunity to help a local non profit agency with a fund raising event…what better then a haunted house! Having the years of experience and success behind them…we as a family took and rose to the challenge. It was to be our biggest and best Haunted House to date. Located in downtown Corpus Christi in an abandoned building, renovations were needed and time consuming… fire codes had to be met…but more important the general safety of our patrons was a must. The Haunted House contained twenty rooms with twenty-five plus people working the floor. From 7:00pm until 3:00am we freighted the bravest….giving all 10,000+ guest who had past through our doors that year a sense of fear that they had never felt before. I myself was not prepared for the overwhelming sense of accomplishment and pride I had….but the stage was set and I had truly found my calling in life.In 2002, I took over the reins of “Fright Night Haunted House”, I have moved the house to various locations over the last several years… but most recently my wife (Marcie) and I have purchased land in Petronilla, Texas just south of Corpus…where “Fright Night Haunted House” made a huge debut….the last two year have been un believable. Thank you South Texas!Marcie and I, like my parents have made the commitment to the community and to you our wonderful customers to continuously bring fear to the Coastal Bend.so on the horizon, just south of town…be on the look out for what will soon be a 4000 square foot haunted house, constructed of sheer terror. With new and old technologies merging together we have plans for a year round venue. This is going to be an all new genre of haunt…and we can’t wait to share our house of horror with each one of you very soon.In the mean time, as construction continues in Petronilla, I would like to cordially invite you to come out and take on “Fright Night Haunted House” 2006!
