26.2 miles. I did it!

About Me

I'm an almost-southern California native...almost, cuz I was born in Canada and my parents are Indian...but I consider myself a Cali girl! I really like the concept of balance. I am both quiet and joyful. I'm an introvert and am happy to be the observer/listener in a room full of people. It follows that I enjoy people-watching. The airport is perhaps the greatest place for this activity. Wish I was at the airport more often because I love to travel! My most recent long vacation was a four week trip to the India. I love it there, it's like the home of my heart. I have been to Japan, Canada, the Yucatan, Baja Cali, various places in the US, Singapore, Bozen (northern Italy), Austria, and India (8 times! most extensively in the southern part, where my family is from). I would really love to go to South America and Europe (extensively) in the near future.
You Belong in Barcelona
When it comes to Europe, you don't want to decide between culture and fun. You want art by day and a big party by night.
Barcelona is ideal for you. You can check out some Picasso, eat some tapas, take a siesta, and then dance all night! What European City Do You Belong In?

My Interests

I LOVE to travel...wish I could do it full time. the Rock (www.therocksandiego.org). Meditative on Scripture. Dark chocolate is paradise. I'm also a basketball fan... go Lakers! I like to dance salsa, rollerblade, sport climb, and hang at the beach. I have been running for exercise and discipline.. it's a love/hate thing. I'm training for the '08 Rock n' Roll Marathon... wish me luck!

I'd like to meet:

Interesting, diverse people.

Bollywood fillums. Gattaca. Madagascar ("Do NOT be near the king's feet!"). Foreign language films. The Big Lebowski. Somehow I never get tired of "The Fifth Element." Go figure.

Television:

When I was a kid I liked McGyver, The A Team, Get Smart, Star Trek (TNG), Airwolf, and tons of cartoons. These days it's all about "LOST." Which Character From Lost Are You?
