Matt Yoakum

I guess it is about time that I change this area up a bit. I could go on and on right here about how I am a struggling singer/ songwriter or actor who has moved to LA to pursue my dreams and how I noticed that I am a small fish now in a sea of competition, but thats pretty much a given when you live anywhere close to Hollywood, CA. I mean its a little overwhelming when you first get here. Even the disgruntled people who deliver your mail have shot a pilot or two. Your local grocier had a billboard hit back in the 80's. Its a very interesting place....... Ok got off track there. WELL after a few year Hiatus from the music scene, I am finally getting my feet wet again. Made the move to LA not the long ago. Things are starting to kick back up. Not only with my own music but actually having the opportunity to work with some great california based artists by producing and songwriting with as well. Its a great experience and wouldn't have it any other way. I am self producing my new album with the help of some great friends along the way. Hopefully I will be able to capture the current emotion and deliver a heart felt message of my passion of the music...
