Jake Leg is a four-piece, sometimes a five-piece, sometimes a six-piece indie Rock n' Roll band from Southern Ohio. They play a greasy style of rock n' roll that goes from rip-roarin' hard rock to gritty blues, melding big rock drums and guitar solos with honest, down-home songwriting. The members of Jake Leg range in age from 22 to 25, with Jared Moore & Kevin Brock on Vocals, Ethan Bond and Daniel Horsley on guitar and vocals, Seth Cooper on bass and vocals, Mike Shivener on drums and vocals, while Jason Davis supplies ample amounts of Madness in all musical forms. In nearly two years as a band, Jake Leg has released one self-produced EP and gone on two Midwest tours spanning from as far south as Louisville, KY to as far north as Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL. With a total of over 100 shows and counting, the band has shared the stage with three major-label touring bands: American Minor, The Trews, and The Elms. Jake Leg is currently at work on recording their first full-length offering, which is anticipated for early 2007.
