About Me

This whole thing started in a small Parisian bistrot two years ago (no garlic, no stupid stripy t-shirts, just fine wine and fine women), when a sixteen year old english gentleman (tweed jackets, pipes, brandy, ...) named Alexandre decided to start writing songs and playing guitar to seduce a young attractive french femme fatale named Nina...After effectively seducing Nina and getting his heartbroken (but laid at the same time, got to keep up the english bottom end or whatever that expression is...) our protagonist decided there was nothing left to do in France and therefore swam the channel to arrive in Brighton in September of the year of our lord 2008. Upon arrival he was greated by a big bold beautiful black bass player named Jason and a small yet crazy French drummer who went by the strange pseudo of : Chris. After the initial dissapointement of finding french people in Brighton and a black bass player with no afro, Alex decided to get them both completely drunk and force them to start a band with him to play his oeuvre. This band was to be named Dance Paris Dance (let's face it, that's the coolest band name since "...and you will know us by the trail of dead")As the band grew stronger, the time came to find a fourth member. A guitarist like no other, rock'n'roll to the bone, usually inhebriated by the beast (i.e: drunk) and camp as fuck. Alex knew only one man capable of such feats: his arch enemy ANTHONY! (actually it all happened purely by accident, like most good things such as pasta or David Bowie.)With Anthony in the band, everybody gradually decided to rock out. Gigs were booked, shiny guitars were bought, and many nights were spent drafting plans to conquer the world and make heathens such as Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan and Cliff Richards even more uncool then they already are. After a few months of blowing people's minds (hehehe), Chris decided the pressure (point hahahah, funny very funny) was too much and left the band to join Mondo Kong: evil corporation who give poisoned milk to children (nahhhhh just kidding they've got wicked hair!).At hearing the news of Chris's departure many people commited suicide, but one man survived the chock. Benjii was to take his rightfull place in Dance Paris Dance as the man who bangs things with other things (i.e: sticks on drums)The moral of the story is: this band are going to release an ep in about 1 month time that most of you will listen to often, maybe even in your cars, or on your ipod on the way to work... I mean you can listen to it wherever you want... that's not the point. THE POINT IS: STAY TUNED BECAUSE THIS IS GOING TO BE BIG! (and nobody likes missing the beggining of something big) You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
