WHITENIGHTS sind eine 6-köpfige Band aus Frankfurt. Ihre Musik bietet Songs, die eine Brücke zwischen Subkultur und Radiotauglichkeit schlagen. Songs, die zeitgemäß und tanzbar sind, gleichzeitig aber stimmungsreich und zeitlos.
Der Band - die in der Vergangenheit unter dem Namen Meruyah ihre erste EP („Villain for Elaine“, 2005) veröffentlicht und Shows mit Bands wie Alexisonfire, The Blackout, Donots oder My American Heart gespielt hat - war es immer wichtig sich unabhängig von Szenetrends weiterzuentwickeln. Ihre Relevanz besteht darin, den Song und dessen Stimmung in den Vordergrund zu stellen. So bleiben WHITENIGHTS trotz all dem Popappeal stets authentisch und szenekredibel.
Dass der Band dieser Spagat immer wieder gelingt, beweist vor allem ihre aktuelle EP. Mit „INTO THE NIGHT“ hat die Band ihr eigenes Manifest geschrieben, eine EP als musikalisches Statement. Thematisiert werden der Zeitgeist und das Lebensgefühl der eigenen Generation. Es geht um das Nachtleben der Großstadt, um Dancefloors und Discokugeln, um kleine Eskapaden und den großen Eskapismus.

WHITENIGHTS are a 6 piece band from Frankfurt / Germany. Their music offers songs, that bridge subculture and the capability of radio airplay. Songs, that are up to date and danceable, yet atmospheric and timeless.
To the Band - which, formerly known as "Meruyah", released their first EP ("Villain for Elaine", 2005) and shared stages with bands like Alexisonfire, The Blackout, Donots or My American Heart - it has always been of high importance to progress detached from so-called "trends". Their revelance is making the song and it's mood come to the fore. This way, even through all the popappeal, WHITENIGHTS always stay authentic and scene-credible.
The success of covering this span is once more proven with their latest EP. With "INTO THE NIGHT" this band wrote their very own manifesto: An EP as a musical statement. Zeitgeist and the lifestyle of a whole generation are subject of this record. It's all about metropolitan nightlife, about dancefloors and mirrorballs, about little escapades and the great escapism.
