jules: "could i take the seat next to you, please?"
(this is how everything began back in 2004 during school-time when we met for the first time)
"cris" is a two-piece band refound in early 2008 inspired by awesome bands like lostprophets, arctic monkeys and the strokes.
we already met some years ago during school-time and for us one was definitely clear from the first moment on:
we had to do music together !!
(pointing on jules' patch) rina: "hey, you like the strokes?"
(that was the breaking point ... the following minutes during the english lesson where filled with stuff 'bout music)
we had the same style, the same interests, the same ideas and the same damn good taste of music.
but it wasn't as easy as we actually thought:
2004 til 2007 we had to set up five bands all with new singers, bass-players and drummers and because of the fact that there were always new issues to deal with we finally decided to get out of this vicious circle starting a two-pack.
we were sick of all these promises which were given by several people.
we now reformed one of our former bands called "cris" inspired by the amazing friendship with the exchange student cris(tina) achury from bogotá/columbia.
we are concentrating on an acoustic project ... just the two of us ... our voices ... and the guitars ... DEAL WITH IT !! ;o)
