About Me

Bio
Ever since helping found (1992) and subsequently leaving (1997) the now internationally known " Cruxshadows ," Tim has studied the craft of music production in order to record and produce his own music.
In 2002, Tim was approached by an old acquaintance who needed help starting a band. Seeing this as an opportunity to gain experience and get in on something that would become big, he agreed to sign on as producer. The result is the lovely "Girls on Film" (Myspace) , an original "New Wave" band. Their official website is here
In 2004, he met fellow musician, Ben Camp, and formed the acoustic duo "Camp & Curry," who performed locally in Tallahassee as well as regionally. However, due each to his personal priorities, it has become too difficult to continue to do so.
In early 2005, Tim assisted in the production of the songs "Read Your Mind" and "Within" for the limited edition Spider Lilies 3-song disc.
Currently, he is shopping for a publishing deal for singer/songwriter Matthew Cloutier
Update: One of Matthew's songs, "Anyway" has been recorded by The Misfit Toys. You can listen to the first minute-and-a-half of it here . This is completely against (my)decorum because when one deals with the "music industry" one gets used to "believing it when one sees it."
However, I'm kind of excited about the latest development for Matthew Cloutier. Not only does he have a three-time Grammy-winning producer in his corner, but the same producer shopped him to Interscope Records, and they are apparently very interested in his material. At their request, he had to fax all of his lyrics to them. This is good.
Five new songs are underway for, Sapphire Rebellion . The plan is to have them done by September and release them during 2008 . Ok, at the rate we're going, that's not going to happen. I am however, currently working on a remix of a song by James D. Stark.

It's All About Me
Apparently, I have a limited amount of "Socialization Energy" that I can expend at one time. It is propped up by alcohol, so when I go out, with a few drinks, I can be entertaining and social. The next day however, I need time to rest and build it back up again. Consequently, if you run into me in the day time, after having met me in a club somewhere, you'll wonder if I'm the same person.
I lived in Zambia, Africa from age 12 to age 14.
I have a strange fascination with watches, particulary pocket watches, which is odd since I don't view time in the "normal" way.
How you treat me and more importantly, how you treat others counts far more to me than how you look in terms of attractiveness. A rather plain girl will become attractive to me when I discover that she really IS nice, because I'm looking for what's inside. Conversely, the bitch that everyone thinks is "so hot or fine" is exactly that, a bitch, and of no interest to me.
I have "picked up" one and exactly one girl in all of the years I've been clubbing. That's a pretty pathetic ratio. It doesn't really count either because she put me on her "short list" within the first 30 minutes of the evening. I never really learned how to "pick up", but it doesn't bother me. Which leads me to my next fact...
Just because I'm talking to you does not mean that I am hitting on you, because I don't even really know how to do so (see above). If I get closer to you while you're talking, it's because I'm interested in hearing what you're saying. I love good conversations, they're even better than when all my favorite dancing songs come on in the same night.
I've decided that my new motto is: "Don't listen to me because I don't know what the fuck I'm doing."
Please get on MySpace so that I can ignore you in real time
