Music and Movies, unfortunately for me I don't really have time for anything else, although I would like to make some time for photography
Most of the people I would like to meet are dead, however David Gilmore or Syd Barrett (unfortunately now deceased) would (have been) a real treat.
Well i guess i can state the obvious, FLOYD, zeppelin, dead, phish, modest mouse, bowie, short back, but lately i have been finding new music irritating and obnoxious, except this band i heard the other day Akron/Family, they kick ass live.
Oh movies, well i can state some of my favorite directors like kubrick for obvious reasons but mainly his love of film art, the coen bro. for so many things they have done, but mainly The big lebowski, and various other films like Fight club, CQ, many Johnny Depp films, and Terry Gilliam for such things as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (which was such a fantastic take on the book) and 12 monkeys. And possibly one of my favorite films Amelie by Jean Pierre Jeunet. I could go on and on but thats a pretty good list
Don't really have time, but simpsons, family guy and three of my new favorites, or recent favorites are the sheild, lost, and one that is no longer on TV Home Movies, if you get the chance watch this show, i think its on Cartoon Network, but it has some of the best and funniest characters on it. If you ever saw Dr. Katz it was by the same people (mostly)
Hunter S. Thompson books, fantastic.. I have really been into biographies lately like books on bands like Saucer full of secrets on Floyd, dirt was good; on Motley Crue, and im currently reading the Jaws logs on the movie which is kind of interesting and inspires me to create... But thats the basic idea of these books real life stories inspre me to live my life tot he fullest
Heroes: hmm.... well Hunter was a hero, many filmmakers are my heroes like Kubrick... um... I dont know who else could be a hero, when i was a kid my hero was Don Mattingly. I dont know who my hero would be, i guess my ideal hero would be someone who doesnt sacrifice what they really love and respect to get some cheap version of it. If that makes any sense, but i guess batman would be a hero.
