About Me

I'm a friend, wife, lover, mother, sometimes I feel like a 8 year old, sometimes I feel like i'm 80. Im "life" smart, and try not to sweat the small stuff, though often the small stuff seems more like that boulder thats hanging off the cliff and im just underneath it. I am student of everything. My daughter calls me a geek, I call myself a artistic geek. Her friends think im pretty damned cool. Yeah I like my comic books, and movies, I go to comicbook conventions and I adore anime. I love a good book, and enjoy a "interesting" conversation, doesn't matter the topic aslong as the disscussion isn't something that bores me, I dislike boring people, I don't have the time for boring, theres never enough hours in the day to do what I want so I try to make each moment count. If im talking to you then theres something there that I find interesting, other wise your just taking up space. I don't have a "gaggle" of friends, but the friends I do have are loved and appreciated, even if we fight, we always tell eachother g'night, and see yah later. Thats what tells you you have a good friend, someone you can fight with and still go away lovin eachother. One of my best friends described my house decore as Early college dorm.. I still think thats hillarious.

My Interests

Art.. music, books. Im a self trained artist, been doing it since I was tall enough to hold onto a crayon and colored on the walls for as high as I can reach. These days I use photoshop to color with unless the urge to do some watercolors comes on. I collect comic book art, the orignal ink and pencil sheets, my favorite piece is of elric from the cover of the DreamTheifs Daughter, didn't much like the book, but its signed by M. Moorecock. Was for a few years heavy into rennissance constuming but I just don't have the space for that kind of work anymore, cross stitch, it keeps my hands busy when Im watching TV.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone thats not boring...

Music:

Techno mostly, but anything with a beat, hard rockin stuff, Goth, classical, rennissance, just about anything except for country, can't stand the stuff except for Johnny Cash, he's a God.

Movies:

action flicks, scary stuff, comedy, anime. Stupid stuff I tend to leave to my son, I have a extencive DVD/Video collection, mostly of epics, and the like. I'll see anything that Marvel puts out at least once.

Television:

Nature channel, cartoon network (adult swim) anything science and or history. TNT Im a big L&O fan.

Books:

Fantasy, scifi, horror, I dont' have the time to read like I used too, I can devoure a book in a few hours, and re read it several times if I really like it.

weirdness....

sometimes I find the oddest things interesting... blame it on my imagination.For as long as I can remember ive had this thing for boxes, no particular reason, I like boxes. wooden boxes, cardboard box...

house update

we signed the papers, escrow closes at the end of the month, the livingrooms is a disaster with boxes, adn the cats have new perches... hope the next two weeks go by fast...
