I am here for Friends

About Me

Lets see here... What to say? I am a private with the California National Guard, only got out of AIT in December. I am still hoping to make the switch to regular Army someday in the future, but haven't had much luck.
In my civilian life I work over night basicly moving boxes and merchandise. Though I jokingly call myself a vampire for it I enjoy my job a lot. My co-workers are nice and when I get stuck away from work too long I get way too hyper at night. In fact, I seem to drive people with a normal sleep cycle nuts because I get REALLY energetic about 10 pm to midnight if I haven't worked. Hate morning though. I spend my spare time with my nephews and sister or reading and writing.
If you decide to leave me a message I only have one request, please don't say "When are you shipping out?"... For some reason that's a popular question. If I ship anywhere I'll let people know, until then please don't ask. It gets a bit exasperating to repeat myself about it.
I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Martial arts, bike riding, racing, reading, writing, trumpets, military, Star Wars, anime,... Ask me if you want to know anything specific...
.. width="425" height="350" ..

I'd like to meet:

1. The person who designed the M16-A1 to ask why it has triangular hand guards... Have you ever carried one for a long amount of time?
2. Coffel and McFadden from B Co 3-518th, 3rd PLT Fort Jackson SC... We were all three there in 2003 and I miss a lot of those I met there.
3. Orlando Bloom. Just long enough to tell him I liked his acting in Lord of the Rings and PotC.
I'd put my favorite author's on here, but I've had the good fortune to "meet" them both via myspace messages.

Music:

Techno, country, rock... (Not in that order)... I will listen to practily anything. Least favorite is metal or pop... Though some pop isn't bad... But most of it gets way too repeative way to fast.
I just got introduced to a few Ska songs when a team lead at work made a comment... Somehow he thought I would be in a Ska band... So I am looking for some good Ska songs, the few I found sound kind of cool... Any suggestions out there?

Movies:

STAR WARS! Return of the Jedi.
Starship Troopers, Electra, Tron, Underworld, Silent Hill... Departed and Deja Vu were good too.
Pick of the week is Transformers. Bumblebee was cool, even if he wasn't a little VW anymore.
...

Television:

Don't really watch it, got out of the habbit in the Army. If I did though you'd see a list of anime, sci-fi, mystery and military.

...

Books:

Star Wars, Full Metal Alchemist, almost anything related to the military...
Also anything writen by Kevin J. Anderson or Rebecca Moesta. It was reading the Young Jedi Knights series that got me started actually looking for books when they were released. That series is still one of my favorites and a major reason why reading became one of my favorite things to do.

Heroes:

My Dad... I doubt that will change soon... Seconded by any cancer pateint out there. After watching one of the storngest people I know basicly fade away over eight months I have a whole new respect for what cancer, and it's treatments, can do to a human.
your dragon self (stunning pics and detailed results)
You Are A Blue Dragon, you live in deserted places in a cavern or a lair. Your territory in very vaste, but you let cattle farmers and horse breeders stay on your land, so that you can eat their animals, as cows and horses are your favourite meals. You are very sly, and mainly use magic to capture your prey.stone: shapphirequote: "My favorite animal is steak." from Fran Lebowitzyou control: lightning
