After getting out of the Marines I became an EMT/Firefighter and played in a band called River. In 1977 myself and three other members of River formed The Ricky Rydell Band which became a regular staple on the Bob and Tom radio show. I eventually became a Police Officer and retired after working 22 years in which six years of that I was assigned to the Executive Protection Unit guarding the Governor, now I work as a Deputy Sheriff. I still play in a band called HUSH and still waiting to make that first million.
