Rewind actually started as a school project in 9th grade before a performance at their school. It was in November 2003. At the time their setup was a little different from now (Lisa, Lotta and Lovisa).
The members of developed both together and individually. After all they were beginners at their instruments and music on the whole.
Fall 2005 Sandra joined the band after many try outs with different girls.
The band has played a lot live during the years, mostly in the northern parts of Sweden but also down in the southern parts, as in Skåne, Gotland, Sundsvall and on different festivals.
Late spring 06 Rewind won the rock award at Sweden's biggest music competition, "Musik Direkt". The jury's motivation went like this, "With a wonderful cocky stile, smart and sharp songs, this band has united the best from both punk and rock". The prize was to play at three festivals in different part of Sweden during the summer -06. This victory has also given the band a lot of attention, for example in media.
This fall, Rewind will write a lot of new material, play live as often as they can, and just have a lot of fun, like they always do!
