The best way to describe Shööt The Möön is DIY HARD ROCK .
Since the spring of 2005 Shööt The Möön has kept busy harvesting a grass rööts following by releasing their own records and playing live. The band manages, records, produces and promotes itself and survives only by the volunteer support of loyal MöönTrööpers.
North East MöönTrööpers sometimes have to face the most brutal weather conditions in order to see the band perform, that's why Shööt The Möön always gives 151% when stepping onto any stage. The band's “take no prisoners†attitude earned them a nomination for best live band in the 2006 Noise Poll.
So, Southern Rock from the North East? You better believe it. Everyone knows Red Sox can't stand Yankees! The band's debut album AIM HIGH cranked out the hits töö, spawning four singles, one of which helped earn two more nominations forbest song , andbest male vocalist !
And there you have it, a hard rock band with punk rock ethics. Shööt The Möön is Boston's finest DIY HARD ROCK .
